
UN Academy

Participants: representatives of ministries, ambassadors, experts dealing with international development, students in higher education.
The UN Academy was a series of 14 conferences and lectures on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the UN and the 50th Anniversary of Hungary’s membership to the UN (November 19, 2004). The program, held in the great traditional institute of the Academy of Sciences, covered most issues of development and development cooperation from scientific, political, economical and social aspects. A Conference was held every week subsequently for ten events starting in November 2004. The opening conference attracted 400 participants, and 100-130 participants attended the subsequent seminars.
